Living in Shanghai

TAGLiving  Shanghai  2009-04-28 17:19
I live now 8 years in China and i can say that
in the last 20 years changed so much.
Specialy Shanghai is a City which is always in Construction.
I never had seen a City so fast changing and growing up.
It's amazing to see all new modern Building in Pudong.
But i must also say that i'm sad to see that all old building be destroid.
More and more Street saler goes away, that was for me my first good
impression of China. Because i like to buy some snack on the street.
You know you can go on the street and buy some
meetstick's or fried noodles or other light food.
But now i have read that the Gouverment when they get some hings about this,
that the Gouverment will pay up to 50000 RMB.
Those people live on their existence minimum and need this job to
feed their family.
Some times is very hard to understand chinese logic and culture and you
must look very deeply to understand or respect this.
By my self i can say i have learn a lot here in China.

Shanghai has always been changing. We Shanghainese witness her changes while she see our growth too. I am native in Shanghai and I have adapted to lots of changes and developments. If one day she stops changing and developing, I will be in puzzled."What's wrong with Shanghai?",haha
